Seven years later, proverbial phrase, ‘When life gives you lemons, make lemonade’ must be playing out for Lt. Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, President Yoweri Museveni’s Special Advisor/Operations.
In 2013, Gen. David Sejusa alias Tinye authored a letter titled, “Muhoozi Project’ from his self-exile in the United Kingdom, accusing Museveni of a planned move to hand over power to Muhoozi, his son.
However, ahead of the next general polls, Muhoozi has reacted to the letter.
This, after branded material (Muhoozi Project) has gone ahead to make rounds on social media.
“Some evil people coined this phrase to try and destroy us! But trust my generation to convert every curse into a blessing! Thank you Ugandans!” he tweeted last night.
Between 2013, Lt. Gen. Muhoozi has moved ranks to his current.
This, given the brilliance in his work.
Uganda heads to 2021 general polls with Lt. Gen. Henry Tumukunde, Elton John Mabirizi, Dan Okello and Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine to have shown interest in the top job.
