Local NGO Managing Director Wanted Over Lesbian Links

Police detectives at Bwaise Police Post, Kawempe are looking for any leads leading to the arrest of Nalukusa Florence. Nalukusa was arrested on January 21, 2017 from her office in Mukono district, outside of Kampala and driven back to Kampala on charges of involvement in an unnatural offense Vide case number 10/19/01/17.

However, she was granted police bond and ordered to report on January 26, 2017, which she did. Again, she was required to report back on January 31, 2017.

The Second Opinion understands that Nalukusa did not report due to fear.

At the time of her arrest. Nalukusa was the Managing Director (MD) at Future Focus Uganda, a local Non-profit making organization she co-founded.

The arrest

According to Nalukusa’s partner, Harriet Magumba, Nalukusa was arrested by men in plain clothes and driving in civilian cars. However, she says that upon visiting her in the police cells, Nalukusa narrated how the men handcuffed her, identified themselves to her while she sat next to short guns (pistols). It is then that she was taken to the police station and detained for two days.

The accusation

According to the prosecution, Nalukusa, while working as the MD of the said local NGO, convened youth crusades. Many of these crusades happened in 2016. However, intelligence later leaked to security that Nalukusa, using her organization, was recruiting, training and converting children into lesbianism. In fact, one of the children in her possession attended the gay pride that year. Against the above background, Nalukusa was arrested.

Nalukusa missing, wanted

To date, no one knows where Nalukusa is. Security continues to comb her offices and place of residents in search of her. She had committed a crime, against Ugandan laws.

According to Mugumba, her partner Nalukusa may have escaped abroad for safety. According to security, Nalukusa had a huge lesbian network. For instance, she met Mugumba through such networks. Others in her network include Nakubande Rebecca, Maggie Isiko, Maria Nantale.

In fact, before Nalukusa went lesbian, she had an affair with a one Okwiiiri Prince Rickardo and birthed 3 children. However, when Okwiiri realized that Nalukusa was a lesbian, she was abandoned in a rented house with all her children. The children now live with Mugumba, her lesbian partner.

According to Nalukusa, eloping with Okwiiri was not out of love but convenience. It was an arranged marriage between their families and had a secret introduction ceremony.

However, later in 2011, she got married in church because Okwiiri comes from a royal family in Tooro, in Western Uganda and as such, their son Rodney is thought to one day reign as the King, so his family pushed for a church wedding. Unfortunately, the pair separated in 2012 when Okwiiri abandoned her and the children. Her family too disowned her when they found out that she had embraced lesbian world.
