President Yoweri Museveni is Tuesday 9am expected to address the nation. However, this is not part of his most recent addresses – COVID-19.
According to the State House, the President is to preside over the National Heroes Day celebrations at State House Entebbe.
However, this address comes only a day after three security personnel tested positive for COVID-19.
Four health workers emerged positive for the pandemic in the same test (June 8, 2020).
In total, 30 positive cases added Uganda’s tally to 646.
In less than three weeks, the President will be expected to address the nation after an expiry on one month to either ease further, the lockdown or keep it as it is.
