The suspended Federation of Uganda Football Associations (Fufa) President Eng. Moses Hassim Magogo has been summoned by the Director of Criminal Investigations (CID) of Uganda police.
Magogo is wanted by police on several criminal crimes at Fufa, such as his intervention in 2014 world cup tickets sale which resulted into his suspension by Fifa, corruption, abuse of office, bribery, misuse of football funds, among others which were allegedly petitioned by MP Allan Ssewanyana through his lawyer Allan Mulindwa.
Mogogo was expected to report Wednesday morning to the CID headquarters alongside Fufa CEO, Edgar Watson Suubi to explain the corruption charges.
This comes just six days after the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) suspended Magogo for two months and was also slapped with a fine of Swiss France 10,000 (about Shs37 million).
