Makerere University students are polling today in search for guild president, 2019/20.
Three contenders in David Musiri, Julius Kateregga and Joshua Mukisa stand out.
Kateregga is a second year student of Bachelor of Arts with Education while Mukisa is a 3rd year law student. The other contender is Musiri, a second year student of Bachelor of Commerce (External).
The three leading contenders identify with “People Power”, a pressure group linked to the Kyaddondo East legislator, Robert Kyagulanyi.
Coming a day after Kyambogo University ‘People Power’ candidate Jonathan Tundulu beat 11 eleven others to the students’ top seat office, ‘People Power’ candidates in the Makerere University race are undoubtedly a force to side with.
Other candidates in the race are; Andrew Julian Tuliwaku (NRM), Milly Namuddu (FDC), Umaru Wageya, George Mutumba, Emmanuel Agaba, Winter Nsimire Muhangi and Donald Munanu.
