The police in Mbarara are investigating circumstances under which a security guard attached to Tight Security Company was murdered in cold blood last Friday at Lubiri, Nyamityobora in Mbarara Municipaity.
By the time of his killing, Benson Drapali, 33, was guarding Balya Construction site.
His gun, No. SAR UP POL 7153460 and three bullets were found abandoned meters away from the body.
His head had several injuries, investigators say.
The motive of his killing remains unclear.
By press time, his body was at Mbarara Hospital for postmortem as a probe Vide CRB 142/2020 continues.
