An irate mob Thursday descended on three thieves after the broke into a shop belonging to businessman Leo Twinomujuni, 40, a resident of Binyena cell Kisizi parish Nyarushànje sub county Rukungiri district.
After news of the break-in, mob started pursuance of the thieves who ended up abandoning the motorcycle registration number UEN 032J at Ksambya stage in Rukiga. The motorcycle was set on fire.
A continued pursuance led the mob to one of the suspects. They then disguised as taking him to Kisizi Upper Police Post.
He was lynched midway.
The matters are being probed Vide CRB 111/2020 (Burglary and theft), CRB 110/2020 of Rukungiri, SD Ref.03 /16/1/2020/Rukungiri and SD Ref 06/16/1/2020.
