Muntu: Museveni left us, we didn’t

Maj. Gen. (RTD) Gregory Mugisha Muntu, the Alliance for National Transformation National Coordinator has said President Yoweri Museveni left them, and not otherwise.

Muntu, in a tweet last Friday said he was asked while in Buvuma why he and company left Museveni to join the opposition.

In response, Muntu said, “The truth is, it is Gen. Museveni who left us.”

He added: “We went to war to fight for certain ideals and it is those same ideals that we are still fighting for. He on the other hand, no longer cares about them.”

Muntu is currently traversing different regions of the country to strengthen ANT at the grassroots.
