Where Museveni, Besigye and Bobi Wine are and what they are doing

Three key political figures top the talk in the country lately. This comes out from what they say, do or even where they go. Today, they are all in different places overseeing/attending different functions. President Yoweri Museveni and Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine are in South Africa and Zimbabwe respectively while FDC’s Kizza Besigye is in the western district of Bushenyi. MUSEVENI

He arrived in the capital, Pretoria earlier today and is currently attending inauguration ceremony of President Cyril Ramaphosa. On his social media accounts earlier, he congratulated President Cyril Ramaphosa ans South Africans. “I congratulate the people of South Africa and the African National Congress party on this historic occasion, and look forward to further collaboration between our countries,” he said.

 

BESIGYE

The four-time presidential candidate is in Bushenyi for a thanksgiving ceremony of Mzee William Mukaira. He was earlier accompanied by his right-hand men, Erias Lukwago and Wasswa Birigwa.

Mukaira, an educationist and former FDC Chairman-Bushenyi turned 90 today and in celebration, so many of his friends including Besigye are at his home in celebration.

 

BOBI WINE

Bobi Wine is in Zimbabwe to attend a swearing ceremony of MDC’s new party leadership. He was accompanied by spokesman, Joel Ssenyonyi. He is also expected to address MDC supporters. At the function, Nelson Chemisa is expected to be sworn him as MDC party leader replacing Morgan Tsangarai.
