BUSHENYI: The police are yet to get vital clues to the whereabouts of a priest who went missing 10 days ago.
Rev. Nathan Rwankole, 68, attached to St Kaggwa Nyabicere, Bushenyi Central Division, in Ishaka Municipality went missing on July 18, 2019.
His whereabouts remain unknown.
His son, Zakaria Rwankole says by the time they lost contact with him, he was in good mental and physical condition.
They suspect that he could have been kidnapped.
No family member has received a call from the presumed kidnappers.
He says that on the day he went missing, Rev. Rwankole had Sh600, 000 on him.
What is bothering the family is that Rev Rwankole has never left home without communicating to any family member.
Greater Bushenyi Region Police Spokesperson, Mr Martial Tumusiime says Rev Rwankole’s family reported a case of missing person at Bushenyi Central Police Station 10 days ago and that the matter is under investigation.
