The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Chairman for Kole district is dead.
Well-placed sources say James Ebong Okalo died Wednesday at Lira Medical Centre. Ex-NRM National Vice Chairman – Northern confirmed Okalo’s death, describing the deceased as a dedicated mobilizer and leader who touched many lives for good.
Whereas it is yet to be made formal, his cause of death, this news site understands he succumbed to the deadly Coronavirus.
By press time, Uganda’s cumulative confirmed cases stood at 6,879.
