National Resistance Movement (NRM) Director, Information and Publicity, Emmanuel Dombo Lumala has revealed that the ruling party funds the opposition to come up with alternative policies.
Appearing on a local television Friday morning, Lumala said he expects a busy opposition as opposed to biting each other.
“If they cannot manage their simple small organization before they come in government, how will they manage a government?” Lumala wondered adding, “Uganda funds the opposition to come up with alternative policies. I expect them to be busy discussing such things, what do they have for the people of Uganda? They have chosen to bite one another instead?”
Dombo said that such situations have shown Ugandans that the opposition does not have the capacity to take over power and control the country.
In the recent past, Ugandans have witnessed verbal fights between the opposition, with the latest being in the Democratic Party (DP).
