Fans of local football club, Onduparaka are to start buying match-day tickets through MTNMoMoPay. This follows todays launch which the MTN Uganda officials describe, revolutionary.
“ONDUPARAKA FOOTBALL CLUB fans are now able to purchase tickets for home matches through #MTNMoMoPay, a cashless payment system that charges no fees on transactions. Fans no-longer have to wait for match-day to make a payment for the home games,” MTN Uganda statement reads.
To even make this better, the statement adds, “Ordinary and VIP tickets will be discounted for those who use MTN MoMoPay. When you use MTN MoMoPay, an ordinary ticket will go Shs1, 000 and VIP will be Shs3, 000 – that is for the first 2,000 fans to use MTN MoMoPay.”
Fans will have to do is dial *165*3# and enter the merchant code.
“We wish Onduparaka all the best in their next fixture – after the international break and hope they close in on that 4th position in the league,” the statement reads.
