Results from an opinion poll conducted by Research World International show that Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga could be the National Resistance Movement party Chairperson or leader if incumbent retired.
Kadaga only met resistance in Northern and Western parts of the country.
Others to have come close to her include; Premier Ruhakana Rugunda (11%), Muhoozi Kainerugaba (10%), Salim Saleh (6%), Amama Mbabazi (3%), Katumba Wamala (3%), VP Edward Ssekandi (2%), Janet Museveni (2%), Jacoub Oulanya (2%) and Moses Kigongo (0.4%).
In the previous question, 54% of the 2, 042 interviewees said President Yoweri Museveni should retire.
