Kamuli Municipality Member of Parliament (MP), Rehema Watongola, is dead.
Watongola, sources say, died Saturday morning the Mulago Hospital after some time of ill health.
Parliement is yet to issue a formal communication.
Other media sources earlier revealed she died of Covid-19. However, the Ministry of Health is yet to comment on the matter.
If indeed she succumbed to Covid-19, she will become the second lawmaker after Paliisa woman MP died of the virus recently.
