POLICE REPORT: one dead, 8 injured in Ntinda-Kiwatule accident as errant driver flees

One person has been confirmed dead following Thursday morning accident along Ntinda-Kiwatule in Kampala.

The deceased has been identified as William Matovu, 32.

Eight others have been hospitalized at Kampala Independent Hospital.

The accident followed a Sino truck, registration number UAX 495M that rammed into nine vehicles and two motorcycles.

The errant driver is on the run, according to police.
