The police have recovered a head belonging to Jack Serwumwe (RIP) who was beheaded Wednesday night.
This after his lifeless body was recovered Thursday morning with head cut off.
The swollen head was retrieved from a cassava garden in Suma village.
Regional Police spokesman, Elly Maate confirmed recovery of the deceased head.
He said two people have been arrested to help in investigation.
This, he said came after it emerged that the phone earlier recovered from the crime scene and said to be John Sebagenzi’s proved untrue but that he had sold it off, prompting the arrest of current phone holder.
“The two suspects were arrested after earlier suspect (Sebagenzi John) said he had sold off the phone,” Maate explained circumstances under which the duo was arrested.
They are; Fred Hashakaimana, 17, and Dennis Ndayisaba.
The police are now establishing the motive of the killing Vide CRB 288/2019.
