KISORO: The police, headed by Deputy Regional Police Commander, SSP Ben Byaruhanga Wednesday visited Bunagana and Kyanika border posts ahead of the festive season.
According to SSP Byaruhanga, the officers at the two border posts were smart and on high alert.
In his interaction with them, Byaruhanga emphasized the need for team work, discipline, customer care and vigilance.
Other senior officers on the team were Regional CID boss, D/SP Yona Kule, Regional CLO ASP Enock Hatangimana and In charge CID Records, D/Sgt Robert Byaruhanga.
The team then moved to Rubanda district and Kisoro in the afternoon.
The officers are expected to traverse the whole region-Kigezi.
