Reconcile Now: Sironko NRM Bosses Lumolo Sulaiman and Abudallah Difee Call for Kadaga and Anita Among CEC Standoff.

 Hajji Sulamin  Mafabi Lumolo the Sironko District NRM chairman together with his junior  Sironko town Council NRM chairman   Abudallah Difee  of Bugisu sub region have  called upon  the speaker of parliament  who is their  neighbour the Bukedea district woman MP  Rt.Hon Anita Annet Among to try and reconcile with her CEC political rival former speaker, the first deputy prime minister and minister for East African affairs the Kamuli district woman MP Rt. Hon  Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga to reconcile , unite and work together in order to have the continuity of the NRM party.

 Both Anita Among and Rebecca Kadaga tussled it out at Kololo Independence ceremonial ground August 27th 2025 for the position of national vice chairperson (female) at the Central Executive Committee (CEC) and although the Busoga mama Kadaga lost, but for both Haji Lumolo Mafabi and Difee Abudallah reconciliation is the best for now ahead of the general election.

Speaking to the Second Opinion Publications Hajji Lumolo Mafabi said that for now the best thing is to see the two heavy weight NRM ladies come together on a round table and agree to forge a way forward but should that fail at this time the NRM party would face tough time ahead of the 2026 general elections.

The two ladies last week slashed before president Yoweri Museveni at Entebbe state house during the NRM NEC conference where the president told the NEC members that he tried to ask one of them to stem down for another but refused.

In fact, the president revealed that he would consider appointing one as a special nominee at CEC but still the idea did not work out for the two political NRM giants who instead faced off at the Kololo impedance ground.

 According to Hajj Lumolo time is still there for the two ladies to reconcile and agree before it would be late ahead of the general election.

“Reconcile now because your lift between the two of you has created a big division among the party diehards at the time when we need to move in unity to politically defeat our opponents come 2026 general election” Lumolo said.

However, For Difee the NRM chairman for Sironko Town council says that reconciliation can be done by the president when he continues to give the loser a special position as a nominee at CEC.

He also pointed out that the president would still go ahead and constitute a committee that would meet the two ladies separately at different fora and create a platform for reconciliation and unity something that would give new hope to their followers and the party at large.

According to Difee, when unity is forged at this time and all factions speak the same NRM  political language it would help in fighting the political opposition during the general election.

Difee, the Sironko town Council NRM chairman, was among the delegation of 121 people who took part in the NRM ongoing elections at Kololo.

Most of his Town council NRM members went through an unopposed save for   Dison Balayo the NRM flag bearer for Sironko town council mayor who defeated Marriam Nambuya to grab the flag.

 Reports from Sironko disclose that Abudallah Difee and the party have organised a get together function of about 400 NRM members who won their flags in Sironko Town council alone.

The function will take place on 20th September 2025 in Sironko where all the 33 villages from LC1 to the top are set to gather for the thanks giving function and thereafter be deployed to look for votes of all party NRM flag bearers from grassroot, mayor, members of parliament and president Yoweri Museveni.

Difee disclosed that they want to use a new method to flash out opposition from Sironko town council during the 2026 general election.

During the 2025 NEC meeting at Entebbe state house president Museveni and the NRm Secretary general Rt. Hon Richard Todwong praised Hajji Lumolo Mafabi for being among the first Ugandan NRM diehards to build and give as a donation the NRM party offices in the country.

Hajji Lumolo built and donated the property in Sironko district worth over 300m to NRM party and the hand over function was officiated by president Yoweri Museveni at Sironko.

When the NRM SG Richard Todwong mentioned the names of Hajji Lumolo Mafabi the president asked him to stand for recognition but he was not available and his daughter Asha Nabulo Mafabi stood instead and was recognised.

Asha Nabulo Mafabi is the current NRM flag bearer for Sironko district woman MP for 2026 general election.
