REVEALED: Police Officers arrested for stealing Police’s TV gift detained at Nalufenya

By Francis Otucu

Nine police officers arrested last week over theft and neglect of duty are being detained at a well-guarded Nalufenya Police Station in Jinja.

Irrefutable sources say the officers include; an ASP, a sergeant, corporals (5), detective constable and an SPC.

This, after a police TV gift to Jinja Central Police Station was stolen by unknown people between 1pm and 3p early last week.

The 40-inch TV was donated to the station by StarTimes but went missing under unclear circumstances, prompting the arrest of the said officers.

It is against the above background that the said cops were held.
