The Opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has opened doors for Interests for flag bearer-positions.
This is in preparation for the 2026 general polls.
In a statement circulated on Monday, the FDC says the National Council sitting on December 15, 2023 resolved that the party should start early identification of potential candidates for all elective positions.
In line with the decision, the FDc says that: “We extend an open invitation to all individuals interested in contesting under the FDC flag to express their interest from January 12, 2024 to March 5, 2024.“
According to the FDC, this is meant to “enable us make early preparations for these elections.”
