The former minister of state for water Ronald Kibuule, also aspiring for the Mukono North parliamentary seat, has pledged to lobby for economic empowerment programs and projects for his people once they return him to parliament.

Kibuule told this website at Kyadondo NRM elections tribunal he was confident that his people would vote him back into the 12th parliament such that he can work for development as he intensifies his fight to recapture the seat on the NRM ticket from the incumbent NUP’s Abdullah Kiwanuka.

He rubbished accusations levied against him that he had engaged in malpractices during the recently concluded NRM parliamentary primaries saying he was voted to carry the party flag by his supporters and that he would upset all those that are trying to politically fight him.

‘Am ready to trounce all those trying to mudsling me for being a bad guy and am challenging them to watch the space as I move to kick out the current NUP leadership  both in the constituency and Mukono district at large.

Kibuule observed that he would use his close links with the state house to lobby for key development programs and projects that shall push Mukono out of the current state of poverty once returned to the August house.
