KINAWATAKA: The Police have arrested Godfrey Onongo, a prime suspect in the killing of a Kyambogo University student.
This, after the killing of Janat Agayo, 23, at the weekend.
After her killing, her body was locked up in the house.
The deceased had given birth three weeks before and had abandoned her baby at Justin Opedun’s (child’s father) home before she alledgly moved in with her side guy, Onongo.
The Police say Agayo and Onongo had misunderstanding, which the police suspect could have caused the murder.
“It is alleged that Agayo hd been dating the two men at the same time, and it is believed that the baby belongs to Opedun,” a police source said.
Deputy Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesman, Luke Owoyesigyire told the New Vision.
Onongo is said to have sent a text message to one of Agayo’s sister, informing her that her body was locked up in his house.
Onongo is currently detained at Kachumbala Police Station in Bukedea from where he was arrested after seeking refuge.
