Sons go into hiding after cutting father dead

The Police at Kaberebere Police Station, Isingiro are hunting for two people accused of cutting to death their father.

Phillipo Nuwebaruga and Purinari Makofu are said to have cut their father identified as Caroli Tuwangye, 64 using a panga before hiding his body at a house belonging to Phillip Nuwebaruga.

Sources say the incident happened at 7pm Tuesday at Butenga I Cell, Kishuro Parish, Birere Sub-County in Isingiro North County, Isingiro district.

Postmortem to ascertain his actual cause of death is yet to be carried out while the motive of his killing is still unknown.

The matter has been registered Vide SD Ref 26/24/09/2019 of Kaberebere as a hunt for Tuwangye killers continue.
