Student Loses Fingers In Kyambogo Demo

A yet to be identified student is in pain after losing his fingers in a demonstration this morning.

Circumstances under which he was injured remains unclear.

However, sources say he could have been injured in a scuffle with police who are on ground to calm the situation.

Kyambogo University students are protesting a policy that requires student to have completed tuition payment by the 12^th week of the semester or risk an automatic dead semester.

Anti-riot officers are battling students in an attempt to bring situation to normalcy.
