The Trinity College Nabbingo old girls Association [TCNOGA] have come out very strongly with appeals to all friends of this prestigious college in support of their upcoming proposed Trinity junior school project which aims at transitioning their girls from lower level to senior six levels
The development came to light over the weekend during their 2nd edition annual sports gala held at the Uganda Institute of Computer Technology [UICT] Nakawa attended by over 600 girls to show their support and girl child power for TCNOGA projects.

They later descended on the pitch where they participated in various sporting activities under their respective former houses and by close of the day Margret house emerged winners followed closely by Alix among others all adding up to six houses respectively.
The TCNOGA president Marie Solome Nalubowa told the Second Opinion on the sidelines of the event that they are holding their 2nd edition of their sports gala 2024 with the aim of raising funds towards the construction works of their flagship project of the Trinity Junior school [TJS] which would serve as their primary level feeder school into the mother college.
She explained that they are looking at raising over 100m from this exclusive gala as part of the required total of 14bn towards this project with a view of enabling their daughters to study under one family of learning environment for exclusive reasons of keeping and preserving discipline and moral fibre instilled among the girls.
‘We are encouraging all our college friends of Trinity college Nabbingo [TRICONA] to team up with Trinity college Nabbingo old girls Association [TCNOGA] such that we can collectively raise funds to construct our exclusive girls only primary school which would serve as feeder into the college with the exclusive purpose of preserving the discipline among the girls at Nabbingo by our professional teachers noted Nalubowa.

She thanked all the boy’s alumni friendly schools among them Namilyango college, Ntare school, Kings college Budo, SMACK Kisubi, SHACK-Kitovu, Mwiri college, Butiki college, St. Peters college Tororo and Mengo SS among others for the generous support saying the girls at Nabbingo may make a future interactive visit to their former schools for a strict friendly social encounter with the current boy’s fraternity.
The girl’s alumni schools included St Mary’s Namagunga, Gayaza high school, St. Joseph girls Nsambya, Nabisunsa girls among others who all sent in cash donations towards the project.
Other supporting institutional bodies included banks among them Centenary, DFCU, Stanbic and crown bottlers Ltd. [CBL] the makers of Pepsi soft drink and Victoria University among others.
