President Yoweri Museveni, through the Ministry of Works and Transport, has reappointed Fred Bamwesigye as the Director General of the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA).
Although details contained in the reappointment remain scant, the management and staff of UCAA have congratulated Mr. Bamwesigye.

Your motivational and visionary leadership inspires us in the aviation industry to scale greater heights. We collectively embark on the mission to maintain the highest standards of safety, security, and service in civil aviation,” reads a message posted on X.
He is a dedicated and patriotic Ugandan, Veteran journalist Arinaitwe Rugyendo was quick to congratulate Bamwesigye. “I join you (UCAA) to congratulate FredBamwesigye upon his reappointment,” Rugyendo added.
“Thank you for your kind words. I am honored to continue serving with such a dedicated team at Uganda CAA. Looking forward to us achieving even greater milestones ahead!” said Bamwesigye.
