Uganda Wildlife Authority Darts Club, popularly known as The Baboons, has made history by defending the 2025 Super Cup title for the fifth consecutive year, after a commanding 24–12 victory over Kakira Darts Club in the finals at the Sands Beach Hotel in Jinja City.
The two-day tournament, which kicked off on Saturday, 2nd August, featured over 10 elite teams. The Baboons showcased their dominance by overcoming Uganda Cancer Institute Darts Club 22–14 in the semi-finals to book their place in the final showdown.
This marks UWA’s fifth consecutive Super Cup title, firmly cementing The Baboons in the annals of Uganda’s national darts history. Among the standout performers was Isaac Odoki, whose precision and consistency shone throughout the tournament.
Beyond trophies, Uganda Wildlife Authority continues to use sports as a platform to promote conservation awareness. Through darts and other sporting engagements, UWA demonstrates its commitment not only to protecting Uganda’s natural heritage but also to engaging the public in innovative and inclusive ways.
