Uganda’s COVID-19 Death Toll Rises

Uganda’s COVID-19 death toll has risen, the ministry of health has confirmed.

From the latest set of results done on Monday, three deaths were recorded, bringing the cumulative death toll to 25.

The fatalities are 65-year old and two females aged 70 and 65. All are residents of Kampala, the ministry said in a statement Tuesday.

From the results, the nation also recorded 64 new cases. Of these, 27 are from Kampala.

Other are from Arua, Gulu, Wakiso, Manafwa, Adjumani, Zombo, AMuru, Buikwe, Hoima, Lamwo, Lira and Tororo.

This means Uganda’s cumulative confirmed cases are 2, 426 with 1, 267 recoveries.
