Kyaka South MP Jackson Kafuuzi is not among newly appointed ministers sworn in Monday at the State House, Entebbe.
This after parliament last week failed to approve his appointment as Deputy Attorney General on grounds that he lacked required experience in Legal Practice.
Well-placed sources say Kafuuzi does not possess a 10-year experience in legal practice as required.
However, 8 ministers were sworn in, in a function presided over by President Yoweri Museveni.
The ministers are;
Rafael Magyezi (Local government), Judith Nabakooba (ICT) and State ministers: Beatrice Anywar (Environment), Helen Adoa (Fisheries), Robinah Nabanjja (Health), Denis Obua (Sports), Peter Ogwang (ICT) and Molly Kamukama (Economic Monitoring).
Addressing the ministers’ shorty after swearing in, Museveni cautioned
them against involvement in corruption, tasking youthful appointees to Cabinet to learn from their older colleagues and serve the country diligently.
