Kidepo Valley Conservation Area Emerged Overall Winners of the UWA InterCA Games 2025

The spokesman of Electoral commission Julius Mucunguzi has today September 18, 2025, announced that so far 35 presidential aspirants have returned their supporter lists to the Electoral Commission for verification.
He said 13 out of 35 aspirants represent political parties while the remaining 22 aspirants are independents. He revealed that out of the 35 presidential aspirants, there is only one female aspirant.
Among the presidential aspirants who have returned their supporter lists include Yoweri Kaguta Museveni (NRM) NEED’s Joseph Kabuleta, , NUP’s Robert Sentamu Kyagulanyi, Mubaraka Munyagwa( CMP), Joseph Mabilizi (CP), Jimmy James Micheal Akena(UPC), Dr. Steven Keddi(UPM), and Ronald Katushabe(Independent) among others.
The collection of nomination forms began on September 8 and continued through September 18. The nomination of presidential candidates will take place from 23-24 September, 2025 at the Electoral Commission’s new home in Lweza/Lubowa zone in Makindye Sebagabo Municipality along Entebbe Road.
The Chairperson of the electoral commission Justice Simon Byabakama Mugenyi has urged presidential aspirants to return their supporter lists in time to enable the Commission to verify them in time.
