The Ministry of Health has Monday afternoon revealed two people succumbed to COVID-19 at the weekend.
The fatalities are a 35-year old female and trader from Kikuubo and 36-year old male from Kisenyi, Mengo, Rubaga in Kampala.
This, after COVID-19 tests done August 23, 2020.
The results also confirmed 99 new cases, bringing cumulative total of confirmed cases to 2,362.
According to the ministry, the new cases are from Kampala (49), Kikuube, Gulu, Sironko, Lamwo, Lira, Luweero, Tororo, Yumbe, Mbale, Abim, Amuru, Kiryandongo, Kotido, Bundibugyo and Namisindwa.
