The police at the central Police Station, Amuru are holding five people for attacking a family in what appears a land row revenge.
The suspects have been identified as David Okema, Christopher Kolorac, Sunday Oloya, James Otura and David Ochaya.
Sources say the matter stems from an incident in which a group of people said to be between 70 and 100 attacked the home of Wilson Kinya, 60, a resident of Gira-Gira, Lamogi in Amuru.
The said incident happened March 9, 2020 at 11pm.
Four son’s of Kinya named Simon Komkech, Aron Oronga, Simon Omony and Tolbert Mwaka were kidnapped in the process.
Police sources, however, say they have been rescued.
Investigators are also probing accusations of rape and robbery against the attackers of the said family.
This news site understands that the ‘revenge’ stems from a land row, which sources say, is already before the courts of law.
Sources say this particular matter is being probed Vide CRB 102/2020/Amuru.
