Unknown Assailants Cut Mityana Teacher To Death

The police at the Central Police Station in Mityana have kicked off investigation into circumstances under which a woman went to check on her grazing goats but never returned home.

Irene Nakigonzi, 28, was discovered dead two hours later by her husband, Ronald Mawenjje.

Wamal Region Police spokesman, Norbert Ochom confirmed the incident.

He said whereas the assailants are still at large, s team of scene of crime officers and homicide have visited the scene while the body has been taken to Mityana Hospital Mortuary for postmortem.

An inquiry file has been opened at CPS, Mityana Vide MTN/CRB/193/19.
