BIG STORY: Businessman’s wife kidnapped as captors phone for ransom

THE POLICE at Njeru are hunting down kidnappers of Bena Nakibule, 40, a resident of Konko Village, Njeru, Buikwe district.

This, after her kidnap at 11pm Tuesday night on her way home, from Jinja town.

According to her husband, Mathew Ssali, 45, an employee of Kasawala Group, his wife’s captors are using her phone to call for ransom.

By press time, this news site understands, the kidnappers had asked for Shs2.5m.

The police have confirmed our story but declined to divulge details into the hunt arguing it has repercussions.
