Burundian drug dealer, six clearing agents arrested over drug trafficking

The police at Entebbe international airport has arrested seven suspects over drug trafficking.

16 and a half kilograms of heroin has also been recovered in the process.

The suspects are; Matcha Labato Manbacar, a Burundian; Zam Salim Nansamba, Andrew Luwemba Kwagalakwe,  Elly Musinguzi and Nigerian Agnuwa Theopius.

Luke Owoyesiigyire, the KMP Deputy PRO confirmed the arrest of the suspects.

Owoyesigyire said the exhibits are to be forwarded to gal Wandegeya for analysis.

The suspects will be charged unlawful possession of narcotic drugs c/s 4(1) and 2(a) of the narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances (control) act 2016.
