Bushenyi man thumps two-year-old daughter to death

Greater Bushenyi/Ishaka Municipality has recorded a case of murder Vide CRB 123/2020 against Sipiriano Mutambi, 46, a resident of Rushanje Cell, Bumbaire Parish, Bumbaire Sub-county, Bushenyi District.

He is accused of battering his daughter, Ruth Ababy, 2, leading to her death.

Preliminary probe shows, the beating was triggered by a domestic matter between the suspect and his wife.

Attempts to rush the child to KIU teaching hospital for treatment did not succeed as she was pronounced dead on arrival.

As a result, Mutamba is still being held to help in investigations.
