MURDER: Chinese construction driver runs over colleague, arrested

The police at the Central Police Station, Kween has arrested a worker at Chinese State Construction Company in Kapchorwa.

Bashir Kaigitale, 25, was Wednesday operating a road equipment registration number UBF 759B when he reversed, knocking dead his colleague named Fred Gatete, 28.

Sources say at the time of the incident, the deceased was greasing the rolling wheels.

The police are now establishing whether or not the incident was accidental.

Gatete’s body is at Mbale Hospital for postmortem Vide CPS vide tar 10/2020.
