Busoga MPs and Kingdom Officials Fighting Kadaga exposed

The 1st Deputy prime minister of Uganda Rt. Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga in a shocking move has revealed that some Members of Parliament and Ministers in the Kingdom of Busoga are sponsored by Mafias fighting her.

In viral video circulating on social media platforms, Kadaga said that some MPs and Ministers in Busoga

Kingdom is now at their last stage challenging her seat of the Kamuli district Woman Member of Parliament and NRM National Female vice chairperson respectively.

Recently, the speaker of Parliament Annet Anita Among Magogo declared to contest for the post of the NRM vice chairperson Eastern, a position held by Captain Mike Mukula before resorting to the post of the

NRM national vice chairperson person, an office currently held by the speaker Emeritus.

Years before reconciliation, Kadaga was openly at loggerheads with the then former NRM Secretary

General Rt. Hon Justin Kasule Lumumba, Hon Salamu Musumba the FDC national vice president, former minister of state for foreign affairs Al Haji Asuman Kiyingi and the lands, housing state minister Persis

Namuganza who also represents the people of Bukono county.

Today, we bring you episode one of the fresh list of members of Parliament and Busoga Kingdom

officials directly and indirectly fighting Kadaga in a bid to oust her from NRM’s CEC and Parliament as well after successfully throwing her out of the house as the speaker in 2021.

However, it’s upon the people of Busoga to judge of all these MPs and Kadaga, who has served Busoga with passion and due

diligence.

 Milton Muwuma Kalulu, MP Kigulu South.

Muwuma is the Member of Parliament representing the people of Kigulu South for his third term now.

He defeated Dr. Kazibwe in 2006 upto 2016 where NUP’s Kaluuya Andrew gave him a recess of five years. It’s alleged that during his comeback in 2021, Muwuma secured over 200M Uganda shillings from the then speaker to reclaim his seat though he decided to support Jacob Olanya in a fiercely contested election in Parliament.

It is on record that the photo that was unleashed where Kadaga come from Nendha Shines of Abaise Igaga was released by Muwuma whom Kadaga trusted most and took him as a real son given that they share the same clan

 Solomon Sirwanyi

He is the area Member of Parliament representing the people of Bukooli Central in Bugiri district, a constituency that was earlier represented with pride by Hon. Wafula Ogutu. Sirwanyi is allegedly accused by Kadaga’s tormentors after he was appointed a commissioner of Parliament.

With Sirwanyi’s coming to parliament became a week point for those intending to penetrate Busoga and started fighting Kadaga and Rt. Hon. Justin Kasule Lumumba. Sirwanyi was once seen in sex scandals with the NUP Woman Member of Parliament for Jinja City Manjeri Kyebakutika which went viral aggressively moving from one place to another de- campaigning Kadaga and Kasule Lumumba.

Sirwanyi has gone ahead to buy a car and paint the names of Kadaga’s challengers in the CEC forthcoming election.

 Mugema Peter Panadal

Panadol represents the people of Iganga municipality and is known for his dealership skills and betraying Kadaga.   It is now news to the people of Busoga that panadal was seen in the camp of late Jacob Olanya and recently was sighted asking support for the challenger of Kadaga in the fourth coming CEC election.

Kadaga herself pointed out Mugema’s name as one of the legislators fighting her from Busoga sub region.

 Mugema is accused by his electorates for allegedly splashing money in markets and taxi Parks in Iganga Town, but no tangible item, not even a toilet that has been touched, built, developed or rehabilitated by the self-styled legislator for the past 15 years he has represented his area.

 Dr. Joseph Muvawala Nsekere

He doubles as the Busoga premier and the executive director of the national planning authority. He was appointed by the Kyabazinga upon his enthronement in 2013 after a very long contention between HRH Gabula Nadiope and HRH Colombus Wambuzi, the son to late Henry Waako Muloki.

 Disagreements between Kadaga and Muvawala started after reports reached Kadaga that most assets for Busoga Kingdom especially land was sold to unknown people and when she tried to reach out to Muvawala, he claimed every asset belonging to the Kingdom was safe. Recently, Kadaga opened up on a talk show in Jinja town and said Busoga Kingdom was under siege by foreigners and all assets were sold off. Reports Kadaga has for many times asked the Kyabazinga to appoint a new Katukiro and reshuffle the cabinet, something that Muvawala learnt and escalated the rivalry.

 Idi Isabirye.

He is the area Member of Parliament representing the people of Bunya south in Mayuge district. Isabirye is also said to have been part of late Jacob  Olanya’s  team while kicking Kadaga out of Parliament as their speaker in 2021. When the Busoga parliamentary caucus sat Isabirye contested for chairmanship with Kisa Stephen, the MP for Luuka south whom Kadaga was supporting. It is alleged that the late Jacob Olanya facilitated the elections and made sure that Kadaga’s Kisa Stephen lost the game in Favor of Isabirye. Inside information disclosed that the two are parallel and have taken long without meeting physically and greeting each other.

 Al Haji Ahmed Noor Osman

Like any other Kingdom, subjects could feel comfortable seeing their own in offices steering development to their own brothers and sisters. Kadaga says that it  is not being tribal Al Haji Osman is not a Musoga but he occupies the office of the third deputy prime minister of Busoga Kingdom something she says that these people have no single interest in helping Basoga from the stinking poverty because they have no grounds to do so. Osman, who is half cast, is a resident of Kaliro town, Bulamoji chiefdom and it is said he grew up from the Bakyotara family.

Bwire Sanon.

He is the Member of Parliament for Kaliro North and he has been at an open war of words with Kadaga since the installation of Kyabazinga Gabula Nadiope IV as the Kyabazinga of Busoga. Being a born of Kaliro chiefdom, there is no way Bwire could be behind Gabula leaving his own son of the soil Columbus

Wambuzi. According to Bwire, Kadaga knew the fact that Columbus was the rightful successor of his late

Father not Gabula Nadiope and Bwire was openly seen in the 2021 speakership campaigns soliciting a mandate  for late  Jacob Olanya even before any other MP from Busoga could take a risk.

Kayaga Baroda Watongola.

Baroda is the Kamuli Municipality Member of Parliament in Kamuli district which Kadaga represents. She replaced her late mother Rehema Watongola who succumbed to COVID-19 before completing her term.

According to family members during the burial,  they alleged that Watongola died of poison and the message was directly pointed at Kadaga publicly. For years now since the by-election, Baroda inherited the late mother’s struggle to fight Kadaga by fronting and supporting candidates intending to oust her.

Haji Badiru Watongola.

He is the father of MP Baroda and the widower to the late Rehema Watongola. In the National Resistance Movement structures, he is the chairperson of Kamuli Municipality. It’s allegedly that this old man has never been in good books with Kadaga since 1989 not until he tried to push his wife late Rehema Watongola to contest against Kadaga and terribly lost,However later  Kamuli town council was elevated to a municipality that saw the coming of the late Rehema Watongola to parliament.

Haji Badiru still holds grief against Kadaga and he has been seen at different foras spitting venom against Kadaga rallying people to vote for a different people other than the political mother of Busoga region.

However, he has never sought legal processes to implicate Kadaga over the baseless allegations on alleged poison of his late wife..

 Naigaga Mariam.

The Woman Member of Parliament representing the people of Namutumba district   changes with seasons like a chameleon. During the Kadaga-Olanya fight for speakership in 2021, Naigaga was seen openly rallying fellow legislators to vote for Kadaga but as time runs by, she is seen these days cuddling with Anet Anita Among who is Kadaga’s CEC rival.  

 Martin Kisule Muzaale Mugabi.

Like a lost sheep from it’s  shepherd, Muzaale keeps changing goal posts depending on seasons. He

represents the people of Buzaya county in Kamuli district and it is on record that  he won his first tenure with the help of Kadaga defeating  former minister for foreign affairs Isaac Isanga  Musumba in 2011 and 2021 respectively. In the 2021 parliamentary elections for speaker, Muzaale was seen campaigning for late Jacob Olanya, something that annoyed the Kamuli electorates. Like any other confused confuser, Muzaale is playing a hide and seek game where he was heard openly at a funeral in Magogo sub county, Buzaaya county in Kamuli mobilizing the masses to vote for Kadaga for Kamuli  district woman MP and CEC.

 Henry Maurice Kibalya

He  is the area Member of Parliament for Bugabula south in Kamuli district.  

A former guild president for Makerere University, no one knew Kibalya apart from his family members at a time he popped in to unseat the then MP and former minister for works Al Haji Asuman Kiyingi.

It is on record that whoever fights Kadaga,  voters in Kamuli have no choice other than dropping him or her and when people saw Kiyingi battling Kadaga, he faced the wrath by voting for Kibalya.   It is   also on record that during her tenure as the speaker, Kadaga gave Kibalya a lot of time on the floor of Parliament to address Issues affecting Kamuli where he became so much famous but to the dismay, people saw Kibalya campaigning against Kadaga in favor of the late Olanya in the election of the speaker of Parliament. From then Kibalya has become so unpopular and at times fearing to face his voters in Kamuli who promised him a standard award of voting against him in 2026. In the 2021  elections, Kibalya nearly lost to his counterpart Pr. Andrew Muwanguzi of the National Unity Platform (NUP).

 Igeme Nathan Samson Nabeeta.

He Is the area Member of Parliament for Jinja South East in Jinja City. Nabeeta also the proprietor of the

NBS group of companies lost his integrity when he was seen in the 2021 speakership elections campaigning for the late Jacob Olanya. Igeme forgot his troubles where   Kadaga was the mediator between him and Hon. Paul Mwiru who always kept him in court for vote bribery and lack of papers. Kadaga is remembered for lobbying for a ministerial seat for Nabeeta who was appointed a state minister for trade, a position he lost after three months on allegations of soliciting money from investors, something that forced the president to drop him instantly.

 Moses Grace Balyeku

The self-styled former legislator for Jinja South West is the proprietor of   Baba media group housing BaBa FM in Bugembe Jinja city and BaBa TV located at Ntinda.

A well-known money lover and dealer in businesses. He is recalled for being involved in the Tirupati scandalous deal where he wanted to sell a piece of land belonging to Jinja City council (then Municipal council) to an investor to raise an arcade. He parted ways with Kadaga when he was the vice chairperson Busoga parliamentary caucus deputizing Kadaga who was the chair. Balyeku like his name (Let them eat) is said to have allegedly connived with late Jacob Olanya in many dealings.

However, reports allegedly reveal that the day Kadaga collapsed from Jinja over suspected poisoning and was flown to Agakhan Hospital in Kenya, Balyeku and the late Olanya teamed up and had a feast with bull roasting at his former Bax bar and Hotel, Bax road in Jinja City thinking she was a gone case. In fact, it’s from that time that the life of Kadaga started deteriorating, lost shape and weight with anticipations that Busoga leaders who were close to her were used to poison her following allegations that she had become a threat to self seekers.

 Simon Muyanga Lutaaya

A seasoned journalist and a proprietor of SML school of media in Jinja. Muyanga fell apart with Kadaga the time she took position to support and enforce the installation of the current Kyabazinga HRH Gabula Nadiope IV.

Muyanga hails from Kaliro saw it prudent to have their own Colombus Wambuzi steer Busoga as the Kyabazinga. Reliable information disclosed that Muyanga Lutaya went through Kadaga’s education scheme and if it was not Kadaga to foot his school fees bills he could be in Kaliro Gadumire grazing goats.Muyanga has no sweet words for Kadaga.
