The police have confirmed probe into the kidnap of Maria Nagirinya, daughter to Francis Lubowa of Lungujja-Busega.
Sources say Nagirinya was kidnapped at 11pm on Wednesday night at Lungujja in Rubaga Division in Kampala.
At the time of her kidnap, she was driving her Toyota Spacio registration number UBA 570V.
Close relatives say she was heading to Kireka in Wakiso when she was kidnapped.
Kampala Metropolitan Police have kicked of a probe into the matter.
Her relatives and friends have already interviewed by Katwe Police Division.
“We are investigating a case of kidnap,” KMP spokesman, Patrick Onyango said, declining to divulge details into the investigation.
By the time of her kidnap, Nagirinya was working with Community Integrated Development Initiatives (CIDI), headquartered at Tank Hill, Muyenga.
