Reports just in show that senior staff at Soroti University Staff have been arrested by State House Anti-Corruption Unit.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Robert Ikoja, Deputy University Vice Chancellor Lawrence Otto- Okema, Acting University Secretary Charles Omoding, Academic Registrar James Okello Gregory, University Bursar, Internal Auditor are those under arrest over misuse of funds.
Others are; University Senior Procurement officer, University Human Resource Officers, Assistant Estates Officer, Head of ICT and Chairperson Contracts Committee/University Vice Deputy Chancellor.
The Col. Edith Nakalema led Anti-Corruption Unit is currently in Teso and Karamoja Sub-Regions to we are to interact with district officials and residents from the districts of Soroti.
