The number of COVID-19 cases in Uganda has risen to 264 after the ministry of health confirmed four new cases.According to the director general Health Services Dr. Henry Mwebesa of the 4 new cases, 2 were found among the 500 samples carried out on community. The two community cases are however, cases that had contact with previously confirmed cases among truck drivers.The other two confirmed cases are among the 1728 tests carried out among truck drivers. The total number of samples tested yesterday was 2228 according to Mwebesa.The confirmed two cases from the community include a 28 year old male Ugandan from Buikwe District and a 26-year old male Ugandan from Kyambogo in Kampala. These two are reported to have come into contact with previously confirmed truck drivers and one of them is under quarantine at China-Uganda hospital in Naguru. Currently, there are 80 cases of COVID-19 admitted while others have since recorvered and others taken back to their countries of origin. Those admitted are said to be in stable condition.
