Kajjansi Police Station has identified a female adult who died in an accident along the Express Way at Nakigalala Tuesday 7pm.
The deceased has been identified as Harriet Nabuuma, 40, a resident of Najjera, Kira, Wakiso district while the male adult who was injured in the same accident is Hannington Muyonga, 38, resident of Mpala.
Eyewitnesses earlier told this news site that the deceased and the injured, driving in a Subaru Forester, registration number UBF 006S were approaching the Express Way through Kajjansi when the vehicle overturned, killing Nabuuma on spot.
The other injured person in the incident was Superintendent of Police (SP) Jane Nakityo attached to Police Senior Command and Staff College, Bwebajja.
However, according to Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesman, Luke Owoyesigyire, the injured have been discharged from Kisubi Hospital.
Nabuuma’s body is at the city mortuary for postmortem.
