Entebbe International Airport has today, 19th December 2024, held a dry run that ends Friday, 20th December 2024, at 00.45 hours, simulating the arrival and departure processes of 50 Heads of Government and over 1000 VIP delegates. The dignitaries are expected to attend the African Union (AU) Summit on Agriculture scheduled for 9-11th January, 2025, at Speke Resort Munyonyo.
Cognizant of the above, UCAA Principal Public Affairs Officer, Mr. Kenneth Otim, advises departing passengers to plan and get to the airport early to avoid missing their flights. The road leading to the airport is likely to be busier than usual.
Otim says that the airport traffic police will be directing motorists to park at designated parking areas to have a seamless facilitation for both departing and arriving passengers.
