KAGADI: The police are investigating circumstances under which Fred Serunjogi, 42, was murdered from his house at Kayembe Village, Burora sub-county.
The matter was reported at Burora Police Post by the area LC1 on July 5, 2020 and the incident is alleged to have occurred on July 4, 2020.
Facts available show that the deceased had for long been embroiled in a domestic violence with his killer. She divorced for a year and on June 29, 2020, she returned with a sick child.
Neighbors say, on July 3, 2020, she sent a one Saul Ainomugisha to go and tell the kids not sleep in the house and that there was a plan to kill them at night.
The kids obeyed, went and slept at the neighbor’s only to return in the morning to a dead father.
The police say they have the suspect is in their custody.
