FINALLY: CP Alalo burial program out

By Francis Otucu

Remains of fallen Commissioner of Police Christine Alalo will this Friday be laid to rest at her late husband’s ancestral home in Ntungamo.

CP Alalo was among the 175 passengers who died in an Ethiopian Airlines crash six minutes after taking-off from Addis Ababa earlier in the month of March 2019.

It took over seven months for her remains to be identified. Now, in a statement issued Wednesday, A-Plus funeral services has confirmed burial arrangements.

According to the statement, a vigil will be held at her Seeta-Mukono residence Wednesday.

Her remains will then be transported to Ntungamo on Thursday ahead of the burial on Friday.

She will be buried at Kitwe village in Ntungamo district, an ancestral home to her late husband. She survived by two sons, Alvin and Emmanuel.
