Vipers SC skipper, Tadeo Lwanga has said his teammates are looking forward to the game KCCA FC.

Recognizing that the tie is a tough one, he noted that the team has been there before but still walked out of it safe.

“It’s a tough game which requires team work but we have been in such situations numerous times and came out unscathed, everyone at the club is looking towards this game with total focus therefore dying on the pitch is the only option as we know what victory means to our ambitions,” he said.

Vipers go in to the game with a boost following return of Burundians Fabian Mutombora and Abdul Karim Niyizigimana who were on national duty. Livingstone Mulondo has also recovered from an injury he sustained two months ago.

The trio remain available for selection. Goalkeeper Bashir Ssekagya and Geofrey Wasswa are unavailable due to injuries.

Tito Okello and Bashir Asiku are suspended. Coach Michael Nam Ouma has a wealth of midfield traders to choose from.  Tadeo Lwanga, Moses Waiswa, Irahim Tembo, Rahmat Senfuka, Brian Nkuubi, Tom Masiko, Abraham Ndugwa and Duncan Seninde are all available for selection. Hamis Diego Kiiza and Dan Serunkuuma are ready to start upfront.

A similar fixture last season ended in a 3-1 defeat to Vipers. Four points separate the Venoms from the Kasasiro boys who sit top of the league table with six games remaining.
