KABAROLE: Woman steals baby from Buhinga hospital

An unidentified woman has stolen a baby from Buhinga Hospital in Fort Portal, its mother confirmed to the police Vide Fort Portal CRB 1152/2019.

Doreen Kyokusima told police that a brown woman, medium in size and height, stole her baby at 8:30am Tuesday morning.

Sources, speaking on an informed point of view, say Kyokusima, a resident on Kyenjonjo was referred to Buhinga and operated on at the same facility on November 30, 2019.

She was discharged at 5pm on Monday.

However, she lacked transport money to return to Kyenjojo.

She therefore chose to sleep under the hospital verandah with her newborn baby.

It is Tuesday morning when a woman, not known to her approached her, asking baby’s mother to allow her take the baby for immunization.

She disappeared, with the baby.

Since then, Kyokusima is yet to lay hands on her baby.

The police are yet arrest the thief.
