Kanyomozi’s son joins Proline at 4

Radio and TV sports scribe, Patrick Kanyomozi’s son, Ameer aged four has joined Proline Soccer Academy.

This news site understands Ronaldo, as he is known in the family, is on sponsorship of U.S based volleyball coach, Anthony Ndawula.

Kanyomozi confirmed the development in a social media post.

“I thought it was joke, atte haven’t I just received a message from Proline Soccer Academy? That my son’s full year fees have been paid by a one Anthony Ndawula. Even the Jersey, boots, everything. Now i have to take him every Saturday morning,” he said. Explaining circumstances underwhich his son got a sponsorship, he said: “Mr Anthony Ndawula, a former volleyball coach here now based in the US is an ardent viewer of our TV show, so nga one day he hears me singing praises for my son’s footballing skills. Through my colleague Ruben, he challenged me to take him to a soccer academy if he is as good as I claim and he will pay for everything.”
