KISORO to UPDF: Tarehe Sita incomplete without Gen. Kayihura

By Francis Otucu

For years now, the people of Kisoro are yet to deal with the fact that ‘home boy’, Gen. Kale Kayihura is no longer the powerful person he was, years ago.

This, after his arrest and detention at Makindye Military Barracks between June 13, 2018 and August 24, 2018.

The allegations against him were that he failed to protect war materials and aiding and abetting kidnapping.

Gen. Kayihura was Inspector general of Police between 2005 and March 5, 2018.

However, even after his release, his people are still angry.

Kisoro LCV Chairperson, Abel Bizimana took to twitter Thursday morning to say how he is displeased with the UPDF on its 39th Tarehe Sita celebrations.

“Telehe Sita is incomplete without our selfless gallant Ugandan, who emulated his father to provide the most valuable thing to his nation. All the lifetime. We love you Kale Kayihura,” he tweeted.

This year’s celebration is being held in Nakaseke district with President Yoweri Museveni being the main celebrant.
